I have been living in California for almost fifteen years, and still have some much to see.We moved from San Diego to LA almost six months ago, and I feel like a tourist, always finding new places to visit.
The other day we went to the Los Angeles County Museum of Modern Art. The LACMA is such a beautiful museum, and worth a visit.
They have a great permanent collections as well as temporary exhibitions. My favorites are the Kandinsky, Miro, Rodin, Picasso, Diego Rivera, and of course, my all time idol Frida Kahlo.
Keep in mind that the museum is closed on Wednesdays. Admission is $15 dollars, but it is free:
- Mon-Fri, after 3 pm if you are a Los Angeles resident;
- On the second Tuesday of each month
- On select federal holidays, sponsored by Target
- On Memorial Day – Monday, May 26, 2014
For more information, check the LACMA website.
